Black Pearl – Revell 1/72 Scale

May 2019 – My latest model is Revell’s Black Pearl. I took inspiration from the film “Dead Man’s Chest” for this model .

“A model of the legendary “Black Pearl” the ship commanded by Captain Jack Sparrow in the film series PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.“

It took me about three months to complete, I did not use the plastic sails from the kit, instead I fashioned some cloth sails, as I had a specific scene from one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films I wanted to depict. I choose a scene from the film “Dead Man’s Chest”, where the Black pearl is beached on an island:
